Puliyogare Paste - 250g

Puliyogare Paste — a Karnataka-style paste cooked slow in cold-pressed sesame oil with tamarind, jaggery and a home-roasted spice mix. A little goes a long way: stir 2 tablespoons into hot rice with a spoon of ghee and you have puliyogare in five minutes flat. Tangy, mildly sweet, gently spicy — a South-Indian pantry hero for weekday lunches, tiffin boxes and travel meals. Refrigerate after opening and use within 30 days. Do not add water; scoop with a dry spoon to keep it shelf-stable.
